Audi has sold more than 1lac units in US, which is a record and the company has never touched the sales figure of selling 1lac vehicles. The exact figure is 101,629 units, which is 8123 units more than its old record of 93,506 units. The growth is approximately 8.8% and the company is expecting more growth in the following year 2011. In China alone, the Audi’s has sold more than 2lac units in 2010.

In US, the clean diesel engines are picking more sales over the petrol engines as the engines developed by Audi are more enhanced, pollute less and bring out more power and stability. Audi is already known for its fine engineering and is further strengthening its base all over. The models which are most liked by US people are Audi Q7, Audi A3 and Audi A8. Audi A8 is a newly introduced luxury segment which was pleasantly welcomed in the country. In Q7 and A3, the TDI versions are alone making sales of around 50% in their production line. Hope the next year hits a significant target as the Audi cars deserves against their capable models.
