First Half 2011: Audi Recorded 23.5 Percent Growth
The things are going amazing for the Audi. All tracks are being laid down in the correct directions and positive results are emerging. The first half of the year has ended and has recorded a growth of around 2 percent as revealed by Audi, Ingolstadt. The sales figures have again preceded the previous year sales, number of units delivered being 652,970 whereas the previous figure was 554,864.
The segments of A1, A7, A8, Q5 and Q7 made a strong growth as they were weak somewhere in the past times in few aspects. The other segment like A3, A4 and A5 are already one of the most liked cars on the road.
The company has recently launched the Q3 to stand with its competitor BMW X1, head to head. The sales of this marvel started from 11th June onwards but till now no sales figure have been revealed.
Talking about the kid in Audi, the A1 particularly got a good success. Over 63,000 people had the key of this car till June 2011.
The overall growth in the revenue share showed a growth of 22.5 percent; the figures being EUR 21.5 billion and profit being almost doubled.
“This success is the result of the significant rise in deliveries, an improved model mix and our continual cost optimization measures,” said Axel Strotbek, Board Member for Finance and Organization.
The next phase of the year might be again setting records by the new launches of Q3, new A6 Limousine, new A6 Avant and A3 Sedan.
