Audi Q7 vs BMW X6: Perfect Rivalries
The Germans define cars. Audi Q7 is available in three different choices out of which two are 3.0 liter supercharged direct injection gasoline engines and the other one is a S line with 333 hp. On the other hand, the xDrive50i is packed with a twin turbo 4.4 liter V8 that can easily generate 400 horsepower. 35i can go from zero to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds whereas 50i can zoom from 0 to 60 just in a matter of 5.3 seconds. The X6 M comes with a more powerful version of V8 at 555 horsepower and their will be a Q7 V12 sooner to cope with the competition. The engines of X6 come with 8 speed automatic transmission, direct fuel injection and BMW’s state-of-the-art Brake Energy Regeneration System.
BMW X6 has a four passenger capacity. There is an optional fifth seat in the rear for increased capacity as well. The front seats are sporty and well cushioned which makes the ride all the more comfortable for the sports minded vehicle. The xDrive50i comes with 14-way multi-contour front seats for additional comfort. More or less, the X5 has options to improve the interiors as the car doesn’t looks of a premium segment from inside. The interiors of the new Audi Q7 is also one of the best in class. The interior LED lights also add to the ambience of the SUV. The front seats of the SUV have power capabilities and are heated as well that can be very helpful in the winters. The SUV can carry seven passengers. It also comes with the four zone climate control capabilities and cruise control features. The sound system of the new Audi Q7 is also equipped with the Bang and Olufsen advanced sound system.
As far as the exteriors are concerned, the BMW X6 is certainly a head turner. X6 features a raised suspension similar to the BMW X5. Coming to its standard equipments, the xDrive35i has 19 inch wheels, front and rear parking sensors, bi-xenon headlights, sunroof, fog-lights, cruise controls and automatic wipers etc. In Audi Q7 the xenon plus headlights are coupled with the LED daytime running lights that add to the looks of the vehicle. The looks of the Audi Q7 are very macho and strong with the huge built. Audi Q7 maintains decency with sporty looks whereas the BMW X6 focuses on being an aggressive SUV.
The BMW X6 is priced between $55000 and $85000. The MSRP of Audi Q7 is around $46200 to $59950 in the United States.
